MazaCAM enables you to output correct Mazatrol programs while programming in an CAM system. MazaCAM supports all Mazak machines and controllers. Mazatrol programs for all Mazak lathes, milling and multitasking machines (with indexing of 4th and 5th axis), are created in one system, and without post-processors. MazaCAM is the right choice if you are using Mazak machines for CNC manufacturing, because the complete advantage of easy and comfortable Mazatrol control is retained. MazaCAM retains all advantages of your Mazak machines due to an output of correct Mazatrol Programs. MazaCAM CAD/CAM contains all Mazak machines and controls by default. There are no costs for expensive post-processors, since all are included. No matter whether simple Mazak lathes and milling machines (QT, VTC, HCN, etc) or complex multitasking machines like the Integrex series, Variaxis, or even VTC800SR – MazaCAM programs all these machine types using one single system. MazaCAM contains interfaces for STEP, IGES or DXF CAD data.
Create Mazatrol programs from 2D or from a 3D solid model. All Mazatrol processes, which are present on your machine, can be issued using MazaCAM CAD/CAM. All machining operations that can not be processed in a Mazatrol process, are issued in a Mazatrol-manual-process unit (engraving, thread milling, etc.). MazaCAM contains various functions to facilitate and simplify programming (hole detection, auto-programming, rest machining of corners, etc). A engraving function that enables engraving on surfaces or on the perimeter of an component are included by default for QT lathes or Integrex machines. MazaCAM contains a CAD design tool which enables the user to edit uploaded CAD data.
Lines can be linked and trimmed, surfaces can be edited and created. Directly generate Mazatrol programs from completely new created 2D drawings (for devices, etc.). A function that generates a 2D projection of a 3D solid model is also included. If there are any machines in your company that do not belong to the Mazak family, these machines can also be programmed using MazaCAM. For this purpose, separate post processors are necessary (leads to extra costs and limitations).
